During the Spring Semester of 2022 our class was tasked with finding an area that met the criteria based off of our research and met our standards for that area and redesigning it to solve an issue in the Scottsdale area. 

I chose to look into the safety of Scottsdale's wildlife in the city and how they may be able to navigate the city in a safer way. 

The initial design is a greenway that goes through the fashion district. The greenway includes a sandy path with vegetative buffers that leads to a wildlife bridge that connects this greenway to an existing canal that flows through the city.

The bridge intersects plazas for the people of the area to enjoy whether its the mixed use buildings, wildlife shaped benches or the observation bridge to take in the local nature.
