About the Project
This garden was a residential project where the client wasn't sure of what they wanted in their yard but they knew they wanted it cleaned up. Part of the landscape had been done by a previous owner who focused more on another section of the yard so this overgrown section looked like it deserved a rejuvination to compliment it.
About the Design
This design was influenced by the Japanese garden style. The clients live on a street that used to be the home of a natural orchard of apple trees and the client wanted to incorporate the apple in some way. With the flowering crab apple being a staple part of Japanese gardens this seemed to make the design fit around it.
